Saturday 22nd November 1-4pm The aim of the class is to outline a method for drawing a figure from life, keeping the whole figure on the page, and getting proportions correct. This is for anyone interested in starting life drawing, but feeling daunted - or for anyone who already does expressive life drawing, and would like ways to create representational figure drawings in proportion. The tone of the class will be informal, but it will require concentration, and involve learning about measured drawing, comparative measuring, and other techniques which can be combined to achieve believable figure drawings. All materials will be provided. Spaces are limited, so please email Mark at markstacey@btinternet.com to book if you'd like to come along, or if you need any more information. We're hoping that this will be followed up by a weekly course in the new year - running for 6 weeks depending on demand.
