Monday 17th November 7-9pm A Wonderfull opportunity to try clay and make Christmas a little extra special. Youll be guided through the various techniques using fine, white porcelain to create 5-10 pieces of your own hanging decorations or gift tags. these will be high fired in the kiln in time for the big day and ready to collect from the gallery in early December. We will of course have some Christmas treats and plenty of festive fun. Zenna Tagney and Hilary Bunting together run Florian - St Austell Ceramics hub. A community studio in the heart of clay country inviting one and all to get stuck into clay. As well as running courses and workshops the pair have their own artistic practices; Hilary specialises in beautiful and functional pottery thrown on the wheel, often inspired by the coast and her love of sea swimming.
